Jim Pieper serves as BetaNXT’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Jim is responsible for oversight of all financial aspects of BetaNXT including controllership, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), investor relations, treasury, tax and internal controls.
Prior to BetaNXT, Jim served as CFO of Sphera, a provider of sustainability and operational risk management software, data and consulting services. Prior to Sphera, Jim served in leadership roles with TransUnion (NYSE: TRU), first as Chief Accounting Officer during TransUnion’s initial public offering, then SVP of FP&A and finally CFO of TransUnion’s U.S. business.
Jim spent the first 25 years of his career in various finance leadership roles of increasing responsibility with KPMG, Platinum Technology, Divine and CME Group (NASDAQ: CME). Jim’s career experiences have resulted in deep domain expertise in fast-growing publicly-traded and private equity-sponsored companies, initial public offerings, financial analysis and mergers and acquisitions.
Jim earned his B.S. in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
