Sam Markey is Division Executive, Asset Servicing at BetaNXT. With more than 10 years of experience across financial services, consulting, technology transformation, and business leadership, he leads the strategy, product innovation, and commercial growth of BetaNXT’s tax and fund distribution solutions.
Sam has extensive experience helping organizations accelerate growth, modernize operations, and create sustainable value. Before joining BetaNXT, he was a Principal at Motive Partners, where he worked with investment teams, operating partners, and portfolio company leaders to develop value creation strategies, deliver large scale transformation programs, and improve operational performance across financial technology businesses.
Earlier in his career, Sam was part of Accenture’s Strategy and Consulting practice, advising global banking and capital markets firms on technology strategy, business transformation, operating model design, and modernization initiatives. His work helped organizations respond to changing market demands while improving efficiency, scalability, and client outcomes.
Sam holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, a postgraduate certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Brunel University London, and a CMI Level 7 Award in Professional Consulting from Brighton School of Business & Management. His multidisciplinary background underpins his expertise in innovation, strategic planning, technology transformation, and product development.
