Tim Rutka is President, Trading and Settlement at BetaNXT. A veteran financial services executive with more than 25 years of experience, he leads the strategic vision, product direction, technology innovation, operational excellence, and daily execution of BetaNXT’s industry-leading wealth management SaaS and data platform.
Tim oversees mission-critical solutions for wealth management firms, broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and financial institutions. His work helps firms modernize operations, improve advisor and investor experiences, use data more effectively, and navigate an increasingly complex regulatory and technology landscape.
Throughout his career, Tim has held executive roles across technology, strategy, operations, product management, sales, relationship management, program management, and client services. Before BetaNXT, he spent more than two decades with Thomson Reuters and Refinitiv, including as Head of Product, Technology and Operations for Wealth Management, where he led enterprise transformation, product strategy, technology modernization, and customer outcome improvements.
Tim is recognized across financial services as a leader in wealth management technology and operational transformation. He contributes to industry organizations, advisory groups, and committees, sharing expertise on settlement modernization and the future of wealth management operations. Tim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
